Choose Life – The Living Word Of God
March 31, 2008 Living Word Success No Comments“By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible” (Hebrews 11:3).
God called the universe into existence out of nothing. He spoke and it came into being. He created the entire universe by his Word. It reveals the awesome power of God in his Word.
A person may form a bond, or a will, by speaking a word. Even today a couple can make or create a marriage by saying “I do,” but only God’s word has absolute creative power.
The apostle John saw that the same agent of God who gave life in the first creation was also giving life in the new creation through Jesus.
If you have Jesus, you have His Word. He is the Living Word who was with God in the beginning (John 1:1-18). The creative word of God became flesh, and the power of the word had a mysterious binding authority.
Jesus said, “The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life” (John 6:63).
God is the one who makes things happen. Until you learn his Word, you will never know the truth that will set you free from Physical, Spiritual and Financial bondages (John 8:32).
Listen to what the LORD says, “But I the Lord will speak what I will, and it shall be fulfilled without delay” (Ezekiel 12:25).
Indeed “God had power to do what he had promised” (Romans 4:21).
