Do you feel the need to succeed? Some of us just could not care less; thinking that we are secure in Christ and need not prove anything. We apply the wrong verses that say, “Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out, and hacving food and clothing, with these we shall be content” (1 Timothy 6:6-8 NKJV). As such we tried to be happy and contented with the little we have, thereby shortchanging ourselves to become all that God wants us to be.

We admit that many have got into trouble because of the love and pursuit of money. And God’s warning is right and proper, and for our own good. However, God does not condemn riches and wealth. Instead God commanded Joshua to be strong and courageous, and even taught him how to be prosperous and have good success through Faith in God (Joshua 1:6-9). Although God is interested in our Spiritual Healing, He is also concerned of success in our daily lives.
